Persons Involved in the Lamp Industry

This section is a tribute to the work of fellow lamp engineer and collector Edward J. Covington of General Electric. It originally appeared on his own website 'Biographical Sketches of Persons Involved in the Lamp Industry', which since his passing in February 2017 is no longer available.

With kind permission of his family, Ed's words have been preserved here in the hope of maintaining access to his writings for the benefit of subsequent generations, and because there is no other known source worldwide which pays such detailed tribute to the men and women responsible for the development of many of the light sources on which the world continues to rely.
