Biography
Franklin Leonard Pope was a familiar figure during the early years of the incandescent lamp. He wore many hats. At various times he was in business with Thomas Edison, he invented, served as editor of a noted technical periodical, gave witness in court proceedings, served as patent counsel, and was author of a book dealing with the evolution of the incandescent lamp.
The place of birth and death of Franklin Pope was Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
